Surface raw steel with machinery oil, cleanse prior to use or paint. As industrial pipe nipples, the surfaces have various textures and shades of color
Screws not included, suggested#8 flat head wood screws
Tips: assemble all the pieces together loosely then tighten & adjust to preferred height. It is normal some joints finally loose (apply Teflon tape on loose joints if you are not comfortable)
